Coach’s Outlook for 2021: “Like all lacrosse programs in the country, Archmere is eager to get back on the field in 2021. A young nucleus of players with some tremendous upside looks to build from offseason work done in the fall as COVID restrictions eased and winter league. Another DSAC championship and a deep run in the DIAA state tournament are in the Auks’ sights.”

Smyrna High School (Delaware)

League: Henlopen North

Coaches: Michael Zulkowski Head Coach, 8th year with the program, 7th serving as head coach with 47-32 overall record.  Danny Schanne Assistant Coach, Brian Boyd Assistant Coach, Daniel Wagner Assistant Coach, and Jay Haller Assistant Coach

2019 Record and accomplishments: 2019 finished with a 13-3 record, earning a berth to DIAA state playoffs as the 12 seed. 

Key Players: Easley Pierson, Shayne Wilson, Nick Shane, Jason Zeitler, John Williams and Zarek Kolakowski

Others to Watch: Kevin Sarkissian, Cole McLaughlin, and Nick Miller 

Coach’s Outlook for 2021: “Team really worked on individual development through playing travel lacrosse during the summer and fall of the Covid pandemic. During that time, the program had the opportunity to improve greatly and build continuity.”
