Coach’s Outlook for 2021: “We are going to be a different team in 2021, very experienced on Defense. If things go well and some guys step up, and we stay healthy, we hope to be contending again in the ultra-competitive Central League and District 1. Then we will see from there!” 

Lower Merion

League:  Central

Coaches: Roland D’Ortone (Head Coach) 4th year at Lower Merion, Kevin Ellers (Offensive Coordinator) 1st season at LM, Jamie Gaffney (Goalies/Defensive Coordinator) 4th year at LM, Chris Madarino (Defensive assistant) 1st Season at LM

2019 Record:  6-11 (Highlighted by a win over cross-town rival Harriton)

Key Players: Henry Bard (Defense), Sam Shaffer (Defense) , Luke D’Alonzo (Midfield), Dylan Peterson (Midfield), Connor McCabe (Attack)

Others to Watch: Simon Rosen (Midfield), Noah Ruth (Defense)

Coach’s Outlook for 2021: “We are looking forward to getting back together after a long stretch away.  We hope to continue to build on the strides made in 2019.  We are hopeful that playing many young players in 2019 will pay dividends this year, because we will be returning several players with varsity experience, especially on defense, even though we lost the 2020 season to Covid.”
