Haverford Blaze wins SEPYLA B1 Championship with comeback victory

Haverford Blaze recently won the Southeastern Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association (SEPYLA) B1 (5th/6th Grades) Championship at Upper Dublin by defeating Springfield Delco, 12-10.

Springfield led 7-5, late in the third quarter, but Blaze faceoff specialist Conor Dodson won three straight faceoffs that lead to three goals in 1 minute, by Michael Olender, Colin McGrath and Chris Burnetta. Dodson then won four straight faceoffs and Conor Morsell scored four goals in the final quarter to give Haverford the win.

The Blaze defense was led by Mason Braun, Alex Piasacki and Will Morsell while James Kyle made 10 saves in goal.for the Blaze
