Roundup from last week’s games in the Arrowhead Summer League:
Pennsbury 12, Truman 6:
This game was much closer than the score indicated, with Truman keeping this one close thanks to some excellent play at the faceoff by middie Mike Hodgkins, winning some key draws. In the second half Pennsbury’s depth was too much for Truman.
Mix 5, CR North 5:
This was the highlight match of the evening with both goalies playing excellent – Thomas Carelli for the mix team and Timothy Schaffer for CR North. Both keepers turned away multiple shots in the last few minutes of regulation and the overtime period to preserve the tie for their teams.
CR South 15, Judge 4
CR South led from wire to wire led by middie Mike Vickery, scoring multiple goals and dominating at the faceoff. Father Judge had no quit in them and fought South through the monsoon storm all the way to the end with Seamus Hart scoring for Judge right before the final buzzer.
