Time for the Goalie Community to #B Strong!
Brendan Avvento (Boyertown High School), a goalie for the Mesa 2024 Orange Futures and a friend to many in the Philly goalie fraternity, suffered a cardiac emergency on the field during a practice in July. Thanks to the efforts of coaches, friends and emergency personnel with their unrelenting effort to perform CPR on the field and in transport to the hospital, Avvento’s life was saved.

Since then, “B” has been involved in the fight of his life as he relearns the tools and skills required to walk & talk again, showing us all the meaning of the phrase, “B Strong.”
Foundation Lacrosse is calling on the Philly goalie community to come together and support one of their own and get some reps in the process. Join them on Saturday, September 5th at SteelYard Sports in King of Prussia, from 12:30-2:30 pm for the first annual “B Strong” Goalie Clinic.
This clinic is FREE to all goalies but we’d ask you to consider as the cost of admission a donation to the B Strong Fund. Let’s show the world how Philly goalies know how to “#B Strong.”
