Phillylacrosse.com, Posted 7/31/20 – From Press Release

The Philadelphia Wings and Saskatchewan Rush made a blockbuster deal today.

The Wings traded Josh Currier, a 2020 first round pick and a 2021 first round pick to the Rush for former Drexel great Ben McIntosh two 2020 second round picks and a second round pick in 2023.

In the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Currier posted 17 goals and 18 assists in 14 games. The Peterborough, Ontario, native was a selected sixth overall in the 2016 Entry Draft by Rochester, then taken by the Wings in the fourth round of the 2018 Expansion Draft.

McIntosh is a six-year NLL veteran who will provide the Wings with a premium offensive option. This shortened season aside, McIntosh has accumulated at least 54 points in each season he has played. In 10 games this year, he scored 20 times with 15 assists.

TRADE: We have traded Josh Currier, a 2020 1st round pick, and a 2021 1st round pick to @SaskRushLAX for Ben McIntosh, two 2020 2nd round picks, and a 2023 2nd round pick.#WeFlyTogether pic.twitter.com/lR9C0nYk1Y
