Interboro 2021 attackman John Scibello has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Marywood University.

John Scibello profile:

John Scibello

High school: Interboro High School (Glenolden, PA)

Grad year: 2021

Position: Attack

College committed to: Marywood University

Club team: NXT Lacrosse Boys

Academic honors: Honor Roll, Helped organize the fundraising and logistics of an Autism Awareness game for my senior project.

Expected major: Architecture

Why did you choose Marywood University, Men’s D3? “I chose my college because I wanted to study Architecture at a top program and have the opportunity to play high level lacrosse. Marywood gave me the opportunity to reach both of those goals. As I went through the recruiting process and got to know Coach Knowles, I was very impressed with the culture and atmosphere he is creating at Marywood. This showed me that I could not go wrong with committing to Coach Knowles and Marywood.”

Is there anything else you would like to share? “I would like to thank my family, coaches, teachers, and friends who have supported me through this process.”

What other colleges did you consider? Kean University, Penn College of Technology, Illinois Institute of Technology, Wentworth
