Why did you choose Middlebury College, Men’s D3? “Middlebury has so much to offer. Coach Campbell and Coach (Gus) Brakeley went out of their way to put me in contact with so many people to help me get a sense for the community and courses of interest at Middlebury. Coach (Dave) Campbell was clear that he wanted me for what I would add off the field as well as on the field.”
Is there anything else you would like to share? “First and foremost I’d like to thank God. I also want to thank my family for pushing me to be my best, especially Mom and Dad for sacrificing their time to drive me all over and watch me play. I want to thank the following people as well: Coach D’Ambrosio for helping refine my play and footwork (in addition to helping me navigate recruiting); my Duke’s club coaches, Jason Christmas and Ebe Helm, for always believing in and supporting me; Coaches Stallworth, Kemp, and Ardrey for welcoming me into the Nation United family and giving me great examples of how to speak publicly on issues in society; Coach Holmes and Allender for teaching me how the high school game works and putting trust in me to step into a starting time early in my career; Coach Mfon Udo for giving me a love for the game at a young age; Rob Forster for bringing me into the Duke’s family; and Coach Chris Flynn for helping me make the transition to defense/long pole.”
What other colleges did you consider? St. Joe’s, Monmouth, Williams
