Haddonfield (NJ) graduate and Anne Arundel Community College goalie Greg Connelly has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at North Greenville University.

Club team: South Jersey Shamrocks Lacrosse, Mavericks

Lacrosse honors: HMHS Defensive MVP; Baltimore Summer Kickoff All Star; Varsity as a Freshmen; Selected for National 175, Fab Frosh, and Brine National Mavericks National for U15 National Championship

Academic honors: Class President Advisor to BOE

Expected major: Psychology

Why did you choose North Greenville? “I am thankful for the tremendous opportunity that NGU presents to not only grow academically and athletically, but to continue and deepen my walk with Christ.”

Is there anything else you would like to share? “This decision represents the fulfillment of a goal I set years ago as a 6th grader – a goal that could never have been achieved without the love and support of my family, friends, coaches and teammates. Thank you. Thank you for standing by me through my victories and defeats, through the struggle and breakthrough, and through times of heartbreak and joy. Thank you for being a part of what has shaped me into the man and athlete I am today. I am extremely thankful for each of you and the deposits you have made and continue to make in my life. Thank you for the encouragement you continually give, as through the years it has fueled my passion for lacrosse and inspired me.”
