Frank W. Cox (VA) 2021 defenseman/LSM James Boynewicz of Duke’s Lacrosse Club has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Virginia Military Institute.

Academic honors: Virginia Pilot Scholastic Achievement Award, Principle’s List

Expected major: Biological & Biomedical Sciences

Why did you choose VMI? “I chose VMI because it fulfilled my dream of playing Division 1 lacrosse while also being a place I could see myself strive at. Also, I saw the value of a military education at a school close to home. Lastly, the coaching staff at VMI made it easy to make my decision to join the VMI family.”
