Garnet Valley 2022 midfield/attack Erin Barnes has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Kennesaw State University.

Club team: NXT Lacrosse Girls

Lacrosse honors: Varsity during the playoffs as a freshman.

Academic honors: Honor Roll, National Honors Society.

Why did you choose Kennesaw State University, Women’s D1? “I chose Kennesaw State University because I loved the coaches and how much they did for me during the recruiting process, and I also fell in love with the campus right away.”

Is there anything else you would like to share? “I want to thank all of my coaches for everything they have done to get me to where I am today, my parents and sisters for always supporting me and all my decisions, and a thank you to the Kennesaw coaches for believing I would be a great asset to their team. I am truly so grateful for this amazing opportunity!”

What other colleges did you consider? “East Carolina University was another top choice of mine.”
