From Press Release

Over 200 members of the Dynasty Elite Lacrosse Club celebrated and honored local troops recently by preparing over 400 care packages that have been sent to these heroes around the world.

A culminating event was held Jan. 26 at The Great American Pub in Conshohocken, featuring a dance party with players, parents and supporters.

Dynasty Elite, headed by Jen “Coach Duck” Duckenfield, spent the past two months accepting donations for the care packages. The party featured music provided by DJ Ray Jones. Players and family donations included: many snacks, playing cards, socks, sunglasses, magazines, toiletries, Girl Scout cookies and others.

Guest speaker at the event was Matthew Benko of the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF). Banko introduced the TMF organization, mission and character education. Dynasty elite proudly wears Red, White and Blue uniforms with Camo accents. Teams are named after military call signs (Alpha, Tango, Echo, Zulu…) to honor the country and troops every time on the field.

Dynasty Elite’s goal is to develop the complete student-athlete with not only high caliber lacrosse opportunities/training/recruiting assistance but also opportunities for community service and character building.

Silent auction and raffle items were donated by various businesses to defray shipping costs. Businesses donating included: STX, US Lacrosse, Longstreth, Rocket Mesh, Black Rifle Coffee, TMF, Hummingbird Sports, Lacrosee Unlimited, Cross Medical Group, Joseph Anthony Spa, Wayne Sporting Goods, Saxers, Live Love Lax, McCusker Landscaping, insomnia Cookies, WaWa, Starbucks.

While the care packages will be sent to various troops around the world we have a few specific honorees:

SPC Shane Barr
PVT Michael Romesburg (CB West graduate and brother of former CBW standout and James Madison national champion Elena Romesburg)
1st LT Larry Boyd
1st LT Michael Garrett
1st LT Ryan Whitney
