From Press Release

Hours before the 20th anniversary MLL Collegiate Draft Presented by Cascade, the Philadelphia Barrage announced a trade hours ago with the New York Lizards. The Barrage will receive MLL veteran Kevin Crowley and a 4th round draft pick in tonight’s Collegiate Draft, in exchange for the Barrage’s 1st round draft pick.

Kevin Crowley

Crowley – the co-founder of Fusion lacrosse and an assistant at the Shipley School – was the first player to ever be selected first overall in both the MLL and NLL collegiate drafts, in 2011. In his decade-long career in Major League Lacrosse Crowley has been named the league MVP and the MLL All-Star Game MVP, in addition to several other appearances in the MLL All-Star Games.

Crowley also plays in the National Lacrosse League with the hometown Philadelphia Wings, who got him in a trade with the New England Black Wolves shortly before the 2018-19 season. Crowley had been a member of the Wings before they moved to Connecticut.

Before turning pro, Crowley broke onto the national stage as a leader for Stony Brook. With Stony Brook he became the all-time leader in points. He is just one of forty players in Division 1 history to record 100 or more goals and assists. Additionally, he was a 4x USILA All-American, 2010 USILA Player of the Year and 2011 USILA Midfielder of the Year.

Off the field, Crowley is the co-owner of Fusion Lacrosse, an all-encompassing premier resource for committed lacrosse players. Reflective of one of the greatest talents in both indoor and outdoor, Crowley’s Fusion focuses on building players for both field and box lacrosse. Crowley also has been an assistant at Shipley for several years.

The next draft pick, the first collegiate draft pick for the Barrage in 12 years, will be announced tonight. With the Crowley trade reflected, the full draft order is:

Round 1 N/A
Round 2 9th Overall 10th Overall
Round 3 14th Overall 15th Overall 16th Overall
Round 4 19th Overall 21st Overall
Round 5 N/A
