Team 11/ Sankey Lacrosse continued its summer tournament success last weekend at the Trilogy tournament held at Rider University and Mercer Community College campuses.
The 2022 squad, coached by Harry Sankey Jr., ran the table at the event going 3-0 in pool play with wins over Jersey Thunder, Bucks Select, and NJLC. The squad defeated Jersey Thunder in the semi final 11-1, and won the championship, 4-1, over Bucks Select.
The 2023 program, coached by Ryan Sankey, Joey Sankey, and RJ Ippoldo, battled back from an earlier loss in pool play (2-1 overall) to post victories over NJLC, 10-4, and Jersey Thunder in the championship, 6-3.
Team 11 2025’s, coached by Tyler White and Joey Sankey, took second, losing in the finals to 3D Garden State, as did the 2027 group, coached by Mark Fanelli and Ryan Dixon, being defeated by 2 way in the championship.
The 2024 team, coached by Harry Sankey Sr. and Joey Sankey, went 4-2 and took third after losing to eventual tournament winner, Blue Star, in an action packed overtime then braveheart deciding battle.
