The Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse team placed a league leading four members on the 2019 ASUN Preseason All-Conference Team, highlighted by unanimous selections Harley Barrett (Perkiomen Valley) and Megan Kilpatrick. The four preseason selections were all members of the 2018 ASUN First Team All-Conference squad from last season.
Barrett, the reigning ASUN Defensive Player of the Year, closed out the 2018 season as the league’s leader in save percentage at 0.472 and in saves with 176, good enough to place her 27th and 15th nationally, respectively.
For the second consecutive season, the ASUN will have a new look as they will welcome newcomers Kent State and Liberty, while Old Dominion has left the league.
As a team, the Chanticleers tallied three first-place votes for 43 points to place just behind Jacksonville who totaled 45 points and had three first-place votes as well.
