Registration is open for the first U15 Camp and U19 Assessment/Tryout for the Puerto Rico Men’s U-19 Team will be held in Mount Laurel, N.J. on Sept. 21 and 22.
This event will be split between the morning session aimed at our U15 (12-15 y/o) who either were part of the U15 Heritage Cup team or for new up-and-coming youth interested in starting up with Puerto Rico Lacrosse.
The afternoon session will be for those players wanting to be assessed for the U19 National Team. The U19 National Team will be selected over the course of a few assessments during the next year, with final selections intended to become our U19 National Team for the 2020 U19 World Championships in Ireland.
Eligibility
Puerto Rican born / or Puerto Rican descent no further than a grandparent. Proof of heritage will be required.
Qualifications to participate:
U15 – Cleared to play lacrosse to include physical fitness drills.
Parental consent to participate
Good lacrosse aptitude and experience. This camp is not intended for initial or basic fundamentals.
Proper lacrosse gear to include a mouthpiece is the responsibility of the participating player.
Responsible player / with a desire to learn and teach lacrosse as requested.
Have a good understanding of Puerto Rico Lacrosse’s mission and willingness to participate in a coordinated trip to Puerto Rico if planned.
U19 –
Cleared to play lacrosse to include physical fitness drills.
18 years of age or younger by August 31st of 2019.
Committed to playing lacrosse under the Puerto Rico Lacrosse guidelines to include a scheduled trip to Puerto Rico during the next year.
Able to secure an international passport within six months from the date of the first assessment.
Parental consent if under the age of 18.

Mount Laurel Memorial Field, 235 Mount Laurel Rd., Mount Laurel, N.J.

U15 9-11am / U19 11:15 – 2 P.M. (both days)
Fees:
$140 – Fees include: membership fee for Puerto Rico Lacrosse – this fee covers your insurance for one year during any Puerto Rico Lacrosse sponsored events. 10% discount from our online store, for items in stock. Basic practice pinnie. This fee is for (one or the other) participation during the U15 clinic or for the U19 assessment. For U19 opting for the October assessment, registration is required now, and you may select “October Assessment” during registration.
