NCAA releases women’s D1, D2 championship fields; Princeton, Penn, WCU begin their quests

The NCAA released the women’s championships brackets tonight.

In Division I, Ivy League champion Princeton and Penn earned tickets to the tournament. West Chester has a berth in Division II and Cabrini will compete in the Division III championships.

Princeton, the No. 7 seed, will host the Fairfield/Wagner winner in the first round Friday. Penn will face Big East champion Georgetown on Friday at 4 p.m. at Syracuse.

Division II
West Chester earned the top seed in the Mid-Atlantic region and will host Seton Hill in the first round at 11 a.m. Friday.
