As it enters its 50th Anniversary, Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks is pleased to announce a partnership with Philadelphia-based NXTsports under which NXT will manage the Quiksand Beach Lacrosse Festival, formerly known as the Sand Slam Beach Lacrosse Tournament.
“Our two organizations have similar missions that focus on creating one-of-a-kind experiences,” said Peter Lawrence, President of NXT Sports. “This partnership with Morey’s Piers furthers our mission by allowing players the unique opportunity to compete on the sand and enjoy the pier and its water parks. We know all participants will walk away having had a great experience.”
The Quiksand Beach Lacrosse Festival is a 5-on-5 lacrosse event for boys, girls, and adults and will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 in Wildwood, New Jersey. Participants will enjoy a day of lacrosse games and 4 days of unlimited access to Morey’s amusement rides and water parks. New for 2019, a $1000 cash prize will be awarded to the championship team in the open (adult) division.
