Conestoga High School 2020 defender Alexandra Aufiero has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at George Washington University.

Why did you choose George Washington? “I chose George Washington University because I love the location and size of the school and I know that I will be challenged both academically and in lacrosse, where I felt like I fit right in with the team. The lacrosse coaches and players have been very welcoming and communicative with me throughout the process.”
HS team’s 2019 outlook: “I expect Conestoga to have a successful year. The players and coaches are prepared and excited to work hard. The team plays really well together and everyone on the team is super close.”
