Mia Tornetta, a US Lacrosse All-American and First-Team All-Phillylacrosse.com goalie in 2017 as a senior at Owen J. Roberts, has transferred from Robert Morris to Delaware.

Tornetta played in 10 games last year at Robert Morris as a freshman backup to now-junior Katelyn Miller. Tornetta made 11 saves and yielded 14 goals with a save percentage of .440 in 112 minutes.
Tornetta helped lead OJR to a Pioneer Athletic Conference title and a berth in the District 1 semifinals in 2017.
At Delaware, Tornetta will play for a familiar face – assistant coach and father Joe Tornetta. Mia Tornetta played for Joe Tornetta twice before, first when he was head coach at Great Valley and also when she was as a senior at Owen J. Roberts.
