Delaware has named grad student midfielder/FO specialist Jake Hervada, grad student midfielder/LSM Thomas Aloe (Caesar Rodney, DE) and senior goalie Matt DeLuca
Hervada is a two-time letter winner who has appeared in 28 career games, scoring two career goals and three assists.
He took a red shirt in 2019 when he played in 2 games and won 27 of 39 faceoffs before suffering a season-ending injury. He appeared in 13 of the 14 games during the 2018 season and picked up a team high 49 groundballs, winning 98 faceoffs in 210 opportunities. He was named CAA player of the week for the first time in his career after picking up 11 ground balls and winning 21 of 28 faceoffs against Monmouth.
In 2019 Alue played in 14 games and had 15 groundballs and 8 caused turnovers. In 2018 he played in 14 games as a midfielder, while picking up 11 ground balls and forcing five turnovers.
DeLuca has been the starter since his freshman year and last year he started all 15 games for the Hens. He had a .581 save percentage and a 9.88 goals against average.
