Kyle Gucwa pumped in six goals and had two assists and Gabe Goforth added four goals and two assists while Tyler Kingsbury won 20 of 26 faceoffs as Bishop Shanahan routed Crestwood, 20-6, today at Emmaus in the PIAA Class AA boys’ lacrosse semifinals.

Shanahan (20-1) will defend its state title Saturday against District 3 champion Hershey (19-5) – a 10-9 winner over Strath Haven – at West Chester East at 2:30 p.m. Last year Shanahan defeated Strath Haven in the finals.
Owen Murray added two goals and three assists for the Eagles, who bolted to a 10-2 halftime lead and never looked back.
Crestwood, the District 2 champion, got two goals each from Anthony Caporuscio and TJ Kulak. Caparuscio, a junior attackman, finishes the year with 115 goals and has a state record 320 overall.
