Registration is now open for Black Bear’s 2020 Winter Instructional League on Saturday mornings starting January 4.

The sessions are geared towards intermediate to advanced players in grades 5th-8th that have at least 1+ years experience playing lacrosse. Players that attend should be able to pass and catch and have a basic understanding of their lacrosse position.

The sessions are geared to help players advance their understanding and execution of team and transition concepts. Players will be exposed to challenging team drills that will improve their lacrosse IQ, decision making, and ability to execute team and transition offense/defense concepts.
Players will work on individual skills, team concepts, and transition offense/defense for the first half of practice before participating in a controlled scrimmage against other grade level players. Head coaches Grady Wise of Boyertown and Bryan Churchey of Perkiomen Valley will lead the instruction.
