US Lacrosse holding Sports Medicine Symposium on Jan. 11 at Pennsylvania Convention Center

US Lacrosse is holding a Sports Medicine Symposium on Jan. 11 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, as the start of the National Convention weekend.

This one-day event, presented in partnership with MedStar Sports Medicine, is designed to be a comprehensive, national level event on men’s and women’s lacrosse-specific sports medicine for the medical and lacrosse communities.

The Symposium is open to all attendees, including team physicians, sports medicine specialists, primary care physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, medical students, coaches and allied health & fitness professionals.

The main portion of the day, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., is split into six primary segments, with each segment scheduled to last between 60-75 minutes.

Dr. Michael McCrea, noted concussion researcher, will present findings from the NCAA’s ongoing concussion study (CASE Consortium).

The Sports Medicine Symposium is being hosted in conjunction with the 2019 US Lacrosse Convention. While registration for each event is independent, those attendees registering for the convention may add a symposium registration for just $35. If you have previously purchased Convention registration and are now adding the Symposium, please call USL Member Services at 410-235-6882 to complete this transaction.

Advance registration for the Symposium is recommended.
Walk-up registration will be accepted at the event if space permits.
