The Ricky Whelan series continues Sept. 9 (at O’Hara, Lehigh’s Kevin Cassese and Will Scudder are guest speakers), Sept. 16 (at Bishop Shanahan, Johns Hopkins coach Dave Pietramala as guest speaker) and Sept. 23 (at O’Hara, USA World Champion, Florida Launch All-MLL Defensemen and Bryn Athyn coach Tucker Durkin of Hopkins/La Salle/Dukes as guest speaker).

Randall Brown, a Duke’s 2020 Middie who attends Shipley School, and Conor Kernan, a 2020 Goalie player who attends Susquehannock HS, were recognized as standouts and they, like many of their fellow rising Juniors, anxiously await Sept. 1 when NCAA Division I and II coaches can contact prospects.

Duke’s Lacrosse Club Continues to Grow and Expand
Along with its Duke’s Elite High School, Duke’s Nationals, Duke’s Young Guns, Duke’s Mainline, Duke’s Virginia, Duke’s Twist and Duke’s North Programs, Duke’s will be adding Duke’s Florida, Duke’s Central Pennsylvania and Duke’s Chester County to its stable of programs. In addition, the Duke’s Mainline Program will be expanding its mandate to grow by formally adding Delaware County to its base.

The Sept. 16 Ricky Whelan Clinic will be hosted by the new Duke’s Chester County program, run by Tom Shrader.

Formal announcements on the new Duke’s programs will be made soon.

Duke’s LC Website
The Duke’s Website at www.thedukeslacrosse.com can provide players and families with all the information needed on the Duke’s Mission as well as a Fall schedule through Thanksgiving.

Other items of note:
1) Duke’s will be joining other local club programs like NXT, HEADstrong and Tri State on Oct. 25th @ Harriton HS in doing a College Recruiting Night with multi college coaches and player speakers with contributions from the event going to support the new HEADstrong House in Swarthmore. The recruiting forum event will be OPEN to the public.

2) In its 20th Anniversary Year, Duke’s will be announcing its ALL TIME 20th Anniversary Team. Look for that this Fall.
