Michael Sisselberger (Southern Lehigh, Duke’s LC) won an amazing 25 of 41 faceoffs to lead the South to a 22-15 victory over the North tonight in the Under Armour Senior All-America Game at Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood Field.
Sisselberger also scored a goal and had 16 groundballs. Also for the South, Jeff Conner (Strath Haven) had a goal and Kyle Long (Springfield-Delco) had an assist and two groundballs.
In the girls’ game, Madison Doucette (Unionville) posted five saves and yielded six goals in the first half for the North, which fell, 10-9, in overtime. Maria Pansini (Agnes Irwin) had two groundballs and a caused turnover on defense where she was joined by Katoe Detwiler (Archbishop Carroll), who had one groundball.
