Each grad year will have two evaluation sessions between Aug 17-19 (times to be announced). Players are asked to attend both sessions so that every player can be evaluated fairly. Tryouts are $50. Players receive a pinnie that they keep.
At the 2022 level, NXT will hold open tryouts to form one team of 24-26 players that will stay together through high school. The 2022 team will train with our existing NXT 2020 and 2021 high school teams and coaches.
At the high school level, teams train weekly in the fall and summer leading into the recruiting windows, where the teams attend top events and compete against top competition. NXT LC uses the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken and Main Line Sports Center as home base for all training sessions and team practices.
At the middle school level, NXT fields a Black and a Silver team at each grade level. While Black and Silver teams train together year-round, they may attend different events, and the Black teams play at the AA level and the Silver teams play at the A/B levels. NXT will again field one team at the 2026, 10U and 9U levels.
All middle school and youth teams train weekly year-round, with competitive events in the fall, spring and summer. Each of the 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 10U teams will again participate in NXT’s Mid-Atlantic Spring League in 2019.
