East Coast Power will be establishing a new boys’ lacrosse program this fall. Club Team 2026 (5th grade) and Team 2025 (6th grade) will kick things off for the first season in 2018.
Tryouts will be held on Sunday, August 26 from 12:00-1:30 pm on the athletic fields at The Devon Preparatory School. Each participant will be evaluated by all coaching staff members and program directors.
East Coast Power boys’ lacrosse club will hold practices every Sunday, starting September 16. All training sessions on Sundays will be located at Devon Prep.
Practices will be meant to develop individuals in fundamentals and situational aspects of the game, develop character of a great teammate, and build the desire to play the sport of lacrosse. Team goals in the fall will be to hold competitive practices, compete in one to two tournaments, and participate in a playday/scrimmage with a local club team within a 7-week span.
Both teams will be lead and directed by coaches with collegiate level playing experience and various high school and middle school coaching experience. The coaching staff is dedicated and committed to the overall experience of each student athlete on the team.
