NXT Boys’ Lacrosse Academy names weekly Workhorse of the Week winners

April 4, 2018 by Chris Goldberg

The Boys NXT Lacrosse Academy recently completed two four week programs spanning over eight Sundays in January and February. In addition, the NXT Lacrosse Committed Academy launched its first year in conjunction with the NXT Lacrosse Academy for some of the elite committed high school players.

In total, 140 players attended the NLA from 24 clubs, 57 schools, and 3 states. Each session consisted of college level film study, individual position skills work, and small sided competition led by current and former Division 1 & three college coaches as well as High School coaches. The first session focused on “on ball” fundamentals and techniques,” while the second session focused on “off ball” play.

“The best part of this program is that players from all different high schools, middle schools, and clubs get together for the common goal of competing and improving their game in a high intensity setting,” said PT Ricci.
