Villanova’s Nick Testa, Colin Crowley, and Danny Seibel all earned BIG EAST Weekly Honor for their efforts in Saturday’s 10-9 overtime win over Yale.

Testa, named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week, had 11 save and a three ground ball performance between the pipes. He posted an 8.48 goals against average in the win and a .550 save percentage.

Crowley netted a hat trick in No. 15 Villanova’s 10-9 overtime win over No. 5 Yale on Saturday. Crowley netted the game-tying goal with just over two minutes to play in regulation to force the extra period. Crowley went 3-for-3 in shots on goal, earning him BIG EAST Freshman of the Week.

Seibel earned a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll for his game winner against No. 5 Yale. He had a four-goal game with his final coming with 20 seconds remaining in the extra frame. Two of his goals were in Villanova’s three-goal fourth period.

This week the Wildcats move up to seven in the Maverik Media Poll and will travel to Hofsta on Saturday. Game time is set for 12:00 p.m.
