Malvern Prep 2020 face-off/midfielder Rowan Cabahug-Almonte has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

Why did you choose Lehigh? “I felt Lehigh was the best fit for me academically, athletically, and culturally. There was a sense of community that made me feel at home. I had a connection with the coaches, players, and school. I strongly feel that they are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the Patriot league this season. I believe Coach (Kevin) Cassese has a vision and will take this Lehigh lacrosse program to new heights and I want to be a part of that.”

I would like to also thank my Upper Merion Lacrosse Club township coach, Rick Clairmont, for making the game as fun as it could be before high school. I was very fortunate to have these coaches and mentors in my life and will be forever grateful for the lessons learned on and off the field.
