Downingtown East 2020 goalie Nico Iacovino has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

Why did you choose Villanova? “The opportunities both academically and athletically at Villanova University are endless. The athletic facilities and academic buildings blew me away. I knew it was the right fit when I visited and everything just felt right. The teams competitiveness is top notch yet they still are able to have fun playing the game. The support for student athletes is super strong, creating the perfect balance. After hanging out with the team a little bit, the brotherhood was very apparent. The team’s drive to be nothing but successful was very appealing. Also when it comes to getting ready for the “real world” Villanova has tremendous support from their alumni.”
