Central York High School (PA) 2018 face off specialist Kollin Vaught has committed to play NJCAA lacrosse at Community College of Baltimore County Essex.

Kollin Vaught profile:

Kollin Vaught

High School: Central York High School, PA

Position: FOGO

Graduation Year: 2018

College Choice: Community College of Baltimore County Essex

Club Team: Rock Baltimore, TEAM Lacrosse

Lacrosse honors: 2x First Team All-County, U.S High school All-American, YAIAA Player of the Year

Academic honors: Leadership Award, Stellar Student Award

Why did you choose CCBC Essex? “I choose Essex because of Tim King and his goal for Essex and to bring Essex back on the map and become that national champ team. The academic side is to get my grades up and focus on what I need to do to get to that 4 year school after Essex. Also because I already met some of the team and they are already like a family to me. I’m really really excited and chomping at the bit to start this season.”

2018 High School highlights: “First Central team to beat Cumberland Valley, winning our division back to back, but loosing in the finals in counties.”

Thank You: “I want to thank my mom because she always been there for me and always supported me no matter what; my teammates for always having my back and being the biggest supporters on and off the field – they will always be long life time brothers to me. Just want to thank coach Muller, my high school coach for pushing me and becoming a great leader on and off the field; also would like to thank Frank Corto for giving me the opportunity to play with TEAM Lacrosse and being able to learn from him and being my coach and supporting me.”
