Academy of the New Church 2020 midfielder John Veit has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Hofstra University.

Club team: Duke’s LC 2020

Lacrosse honors: Two-time varsity starter,
2017 Philadelphia Under Amour All American Underclassmen,
Philly Elite Fall Invitational Stand Out,
Big 12 All Tournament Team

Expected major: Business

Why did you choose Hofstra? “I chose Hofstra University because I felt a great connection from the coaches and players. One thing that I was looking for in a lacrosse program was family and I immediately recognized that Hofstra Lacrosse would give me a great family experience.’

HS team’s 2018 highlights: “A record of 16-6 and five consecutive Friends League Championships.”

Thank You: “I want to give a huge thank you to my coaches Rob and Jack Forster for continuing to make me a better lacrosse player; as well as my club coaches, Ebe Helm and Jason Christmas. Finally, a huge thank you to my parents who made it all possible!”
