Academy of the New Church 2019 attackman Joey Paterno has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. Bonaventure University.

Why did you choose St. Bonaventure? “I chose St. Bonaventure because I felt a connection with the coaching staff and the current players. I all feel like there are great opportunities that come with the building of a new program.”

HS team’s 2018 highlights:
“We finished 16-6 and won our fifth consecutive friends Leauge title. We beat CB East, Princeton Day in 4OT, and Hun School twice. We also made it to the National Prep Championship Semifinals where we got the opportunity to play #1 Culver Academy.”
