Wissahickon High School (PA) 2019 midfield Kelly Dickson has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Saint Francis University.

Lacrosse Honors: Varsity since 9th Grade, Honorable Mention All-Suburban One as a Sophomore, Brine National Lacrosse Classic, Most Versatile Player Award, Rookie of the Year Award

Academic Honors: National Honor Society, Student Council Treasurer, Distinguished Honor Roll

Intended Major: Accounting

Why did you choose Saint Francis? “I chose Saint Francis University because of the amazing academics and lacrosse program starting with the staff and players. As soon as I met the team, staff and walked around the school, I knew this was where I would want to spend my four years of college. I have always wanted to play lacrosse at the Division One level, and I am so honored that Coach (Kara) Concheck and Coach (Katherine) Athens have provided me with the opportunity.”

HS team’s Outlook for 2018 season? “Wissahickon returns some starters from last year, and a lot of new underclassmen which will be good for the season!”

Thank You: “I would like to thank, first and foremost, my parents and family for always being my number one supporters; also my STEPS coach Brooke Fritz. She has helped me out immensely throughout this process and choosing the school I want to play at.”
