Strath Haven 2019 midfielder Sophie Haase has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Williams College.

High school: Strath Haven High School (PA)

Grad year: 2019

Position: Midfield

College committed to: Williams College

Club team: STEPS Elite Philadelphia

Lacrosse honors: Captain of high school team for the 2019 season, National Tournament 2018 (Team Philly), varsity starter since freshman year, All Delco and All Central League honors

Academic honors: High honor roll every semester, National Honors Society

Expected major: Undecided

Why did you choose Williams? “Williams is the perfect mix of excellent academics and competitive lacrosse.”

HS team’s 2019 outlook: “We have lost some key starting players, and we are a relatively young team, but we have many talented athletes and it should be a great season!”
