The Lawrenceville School (N.J.) 2020 midfielder Ellie Vogel has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Georgetown University.

Why did you choose Georgetown? “I am excited to explore Georgetown’s religion and philosophy offerings in the College. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to continue my academic studies and pursue my passion for playing lacrosse at Georgetown. The rigorous academics and Jesuit community that focuses on the development of the whole person appeal to me. It is exciting to join the positive team culture fostered by Coach Fried and to surround myself with high level players that share my passion for the game. Not only are Coach (Ricky) Fried, Coach (Nick) Williams, Coach (Danielle) Etrasco, and Coach (Gussie) Johns experts of the game, but they are also so much fun to be around. I look forward to working hard and continuing to grow as a person and as a player on the Hilltop. Hoya Saxa! I am really excited for this 2019 season.”
