Friends’ Central 2019 attack Benna Berger has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Hamilton College.

Why did you choose Hamilton? “I chose Hamilton because it is not only the perfect fit for me athletically, but it is also academically. The open curriculum is exciting to me because it will allow me to really focus in on my major. The campus is breathtaking, and for such a small school the acreage makes it feel big.”
HS team’s 2018 highight: “My highlight from 2018 was when we played Merion Mercy at the Katie Samson Festival. As a team, we struggled to click all season long. It was not until The Katie Samson tournament where we finally became more cohesive. As a captain, that was my most proud moment since I worked so hard all season long to help the team bond and be successful. We held our ground the entire game and ended up losing by a few goals. In my eyes and my teams eyes it was the best game of the season.”
Thank You: “I want to thank my mom, my dad, and my sisters for their unwavering support. Even though many times I drove them crazy. I also want to thank my trainer, Ben Steenrod, for helping me be the best athlete I can be. last but not least, my club coaches, George Dick and Brooke Fritz, for all the advice and opportunity to play.”
