Downingtown West 2019 midfielder Emily Feeney has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Quinnipiac University.

Emily Feeney profile:

Emily Feeney

Position: Midfield

Grad year: 2019

College committed to: Quinnipiac University

Why did you choose Quinnipiac? “The coaches were the biggest push for me as Coach TK (Tanya Kotowicz) and Coach (Jordan) Christopher (Villa Maria Academy alum) have such good hopes and goals for this team that I just couldn’t help but see myself as a part of their success in the future years. I fell in love with the campus and could really see myself fitting in.”

HS team’s 2018 outlook: “We ended the last season with a pretty good record, but I think this upcoming season is going to look even better, especially with some good rising freshmen.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents for supporting me in this long journey and taking me to all of my tournaments and camps. I could not have done it without them. I would also like to thank my travel team coach, Kevin Ryan, for helping me accomplish this lifelong goal. To Paul Kenny, my strength and conditioning coach at Marino’s Body Shop, you have helped me become a stronger player with the game that I love. Thanks to Kate Henwood for pushing me to be the best that I can be and always supporting no matter what.”
