From Press Release

Head coach Pat Myers of the Lafayette men’s lacrosse program announced the addition of Ian Moore as the team’s volunteer assistant coach on Friday afternoon.

“Ian is a bright, young coach and we’re extremely excited to have him as part of our family,” Myers said. “It’s clear that his core values align perfectly with those of our program and he’ll be a tremendous asset to our student-athletes.”

Moore comes to College Hill after a stint at Ursinus College where he served as an assistant coach and the interim head coach over the past two seasons. During that span, he coached four all-league performers, including two on the first team.

“I would like to thank Coach Myers, Sherryta Freeman and the entire Lafayette athletics administration team for providing me this outstanding opportunity,” Moore said. “I could not be more excited to be a part of this new era of Lafayette lacrosse dedicated to hard work, toughness and brotherhood. I am grateful to have the chance to positively impact the lives of young men at one of the most prestigious liberal arts colleges in the country, and I am ecstatic to work with and learn from such a phenomenal group of coaches.”

Prior to his time at Ursinus, Moore was the top assistant at Arcadia during the 2015-16 season and worked with United Lacrosse from 2013-16. He graduated from Ursinus in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.
