We honor the 2017 All-Phillylacrosse.com Boys’ Team for South Jersey:

Players of the Year:
Moorestown senior midfielder/face-off specialist Frankie Labetti, who earned US Lacrosse All-American and led Moorestown to the Group 3 State championship and a berth in the Tournament of Champions title game, collecting 54 goals and 27 assists while winning 70 percent of his faceoffs.

Hun School senior Chris Fake, who was named All-American for the third time and was named the Top Defenseman in New Jersey.

Coach of the Year: Moorestown’s Baron Wallenhurst, who led the Quakers (18-4) to the New Jersey Group 3 championship and the school’s first berth in the Tournament of Champions finals.

Attackmen
Will Corbi, Moorestown, Sr. – Helped lead Quakers to New Jersey Group 3 state title and berth in Tournament of Champions finals … Had 37 goals, 48 assists … Attending Penn State University.
Ian Gray, Seneca, Jr. – Helped lead Eagles to 13-5 season and South Jersey Group 2 semifinals … Had 52 goals, 15 assists … Signed with Monmouth.
Matt Ingersoll, Lenape, Jr. – Helped lead Indians to SJ Group 4 finals … Had 55 goals, 412 assists.
Mike Shinske, Shawnee, Sr. – US Lacrosse Academic All-American … Had 41 goals, 19 assists … Playing at Penn State.
Quinn Willis, Moorestown, Sr. – Helped lead Quakers to New Jersey Group 3 state title and berth in Tournament of Champions finals … Had 64 goals … Playing at Washington College.

Midfielders
Frankie Labetti, Moorestown, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American … Helped lead Quakers to New Jersey Group 3 state title and berth in Tournament of Champions finals… Won 71 percent of his face-offs … Had 54 goals, 27 assists … Playing at Fairfield.
Tim Montgomery, Lenape, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American … Helped lead Indians to SJ Group 4 finals … Had 53 goals and 53 assists … Playing at Towson.
Dan Wigley, Shawnee, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American … Had 42 goals, 18 assists … Playing at Loyola.

Defensemen
Jarrett Baker, Clearview, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American … Playing at Hartford.
Carter Button, Moorestown, Sr. – Helped lead Moorestown to Group 3 state title and berth in Tournament of Champions finals … Anchor of defense that yielded just 6 goals per game … Attending Wake Forest.
Chris Fake, Hun School, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American … Named Top Defenseman in New Jersey … Anchor of a defense that helped lead Hun to Prep A title game … Playing at Yale.
Brett Funk, Shawnee, Jr. – Helped lead Shawnee to South Jersey Group 3 finals … Signed with Penn State.

LSM
Jake McCaughan, St. Augustine Prep, Sr. – Anchor of St. Augustine defense … Playing at Penn State.

Faceoff Specialists
Zach Cole, Lenape, Jr. – Helped lead Indians to SJ Group 4 finals …. Won 82 percent pf his faceoffs … Had 15 goals, 14 assists … Signed with St. Joseph’s.
Mitchell Rothstein, Haddonfield, Jr. – US Lacrosse All-American and Academic All-American … Won 83 percent of his faceoffs (276 of 334) and added 11 goals … Helped lead Haddonfield to 14-5 season … Committed to Cornell.

Goalie
Liam Peck, Moorestown, Sr.- Helped lead Moorestown to Group 3 state title and berth in Tournament of Champions finals … Had 129 saves, 77 goals allowed … Attending Furman.
Luke Russomanno, St. Augustine, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American … Had 176 saves … Playing at Ohio State.
