Furman closes out an early-season road swing on Saturday, facing-off against Canisius in the third of three-straight road games and second of back-to-back neutral site contests. Saturday’s game, set to begin at 12:00 p.m., is taking place in Wayne, Pa., on the campus of Radnor High School.

David Williamson tied a career-high with five goals for Furman (0-3) in its last game, but Sacred Heart toppled the Paladins, 17-13 Saturday at Homewood Field on the campus of Johns Hopkins University. Furman also will play a neutral site game March 6 vs. Penn State at Georgetown Prep.

Canisius tallied eight the final 10 goals of the game against Binghamton on Tuesday, to overcome a four-goal deficit and down the Bearcats, 12-10. Senior Connor Kearnan tallied four goals and added four assists to lead the Golden Griffins (1-1) comeback as they picked up their first victory under new head coach Mark Miyashita.Sophomore Carter Stefaniak tallied two goals and an assist while fellow sophomore Mathieu Boissonneault chipped in two goals, including the game-winning tally midway through the fourth quarter.
