.@DukesMainlineLC wins 2021 Red Division championship at @Victory_Events Fall Classic

Duke’s Mainline 2021 captured the Victory Fall Classic 2021 Red Division championship on Sunday with an impressive 3-0 record against Bearcats 2021, Evergreen 2021 and GSLA 2021.

This marks the third championship Duke’s Mainline 2021 has won and fourth Championship game appearance since its inception in 2017.

Team MVP FOGO Jake Methlie (Springfield) dominated at the faceoff X all day while Offensive MVP attack Ben Sombar (Pitt) led a high powered offensive effort that included strong performances from Robbie O’Brien (Springfield-Delco), Aidan Gahagan (Cardinal O’Hara), Evan Zappone (Ridley), Nick Mormando (Interboro), and Christian Donato (Cardinal O’Hara).

Defensively Duke’s Mainline 2021 was led by Defensive MVP LSM Zach Palinkas (Emmaus) who was a difference maker on both defense and offense, serving both as a lock down defender and an offensive threat in transition scoring multiple goals. Other standout defenders included Nick Falcucci (Ridley), Reed Conrey (Northwestern Lehigh), Max Harar (Council Rock North) and Kyle WIlson (Cardinal O’Hara), who also added two goals for the team.

Goalies Jake Bosak (Ridley) and Davis Ike (Allentown Central Catholic) added consistently strong goalie play throughout the day for the team.

The team was coached by Paul Mita (Cabrini University asst. coach) and Evan Bohner (Cardinal O’Hara head coach).
