From Press Release

Drexel’s Hannah (Rudloff) Wszalek (West Chester East) announced that she is leaving the program to pursue her husband’s career opportunity abroad. Wszalek was the seventh head coach in the program’s 35-year NCAA Division I history, and the third-winningest coach at the school.

“Hannah has embraced what it means to be a Dragon since she arrived here as an assistant coach eight years ago,” said Deputy Athletics Director Nick Gannon. “While we are sorry to see her go, we want to thank her for her efforts with the program and wish her and her husband Eric well in their new surroundings.”

Over five seasons at the helm of the Dragons, Wszalek won 31 games, highlighted by a 10-win season and a trip to the Colonial Athletic Association Championships in 2016. That year included a victory over Hofstra, snapping a 22-game skid in the series with the Pride.

Wszalek mentored 13 All-CAA selections over her five seasons, including the reigning CAA Rookie of the Year, Colleen Grady. Amanda Norcini also earned an IWLCA Regional All-America recognition under Wszalek’s watch in 2014.

A nationwide search for Wszalek’s replacement will begin immediately.
