From Press Release

Dallas Rattlers attackman Jordan Wolf (Lower Merion, Duke’s LC) is nominated for both Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player at the 2018 MLL Honors. The event will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17 at the historic American Theater in Charleston, S.C. and will be aired on Lax Sports Network (LSN).

Wolf, the Rattlers most prolific offensive threat this season with 51 points, has been one of the most consistent attackmen since entering the league in 2014. After a stellar career at Duke University, Wolf was selected second overall by the former Rochester Rattlers.

At Duke, Wolf was a two-time NCAA champion and looks to continue his winning ways this Saturday. The matchup with the Outlaws will serve as a grudge match between the two teams as they faced off in Wolf’s first title game appearance for the Rattlers, a loss in 2014. If selected, it would be Wolf’s second Offensive Player of the Year award with the first one coming in 2015.

Also nominated for awards is John Galloway for Goalie of the Year and Man of the Year, Matt Dunn for Defensive Player of the Year, and Bill Warder for Coach of the Year. Wolf and company are back in action for the Steinfeld Trophy this Saturday when the Rattlers play the Denver Outlaws in Charleston, S.C. at 7 p.m. ET at MUSC Health Stadium. This will be the first-ever professional sports championship in South Carolina..
