Senior goalie Ted Bergman (Strath Haven) of 17-1 and league champion Wesleyan University was named first-team NESCAC All-Conference. The all-NESCAC teams were announced Thursday by the conference office and voted on by the league’s coaches.

Bergman earned his second all-conference nod, while garnering First Team honors for the first time in his career. The senior goalie has been exceptional between the posts all year and leads the conference in goals-against average (8.66), and ranks second in both save percentage (57.4) and minutes (921:28).

Also making the second team were Lower Merion grads Evan Wolf (Amherst, sophomore attackman) and Bowdoin junior middie Daniel Buckman.

Ranked second on the team in points, Wolf has secured 44 points on the strength of 27 goals and 17 assists. Five of those goals have come on the man-advantage. He has also picked up 13 ground balls and forced a pair of turnovers en route to his second team all-conference selection.

Buckman was one of Bowdoin’s most balanced scorers this year, tallying 21 goals and 17 assists to rank third on the team with 38 points. He has 86 career points in 45 career games for the Polar Bears.

Bowdoin finished their season with a record of 10-6, placing fourth in the final NESCAC standings.
