Registration is open for the University of Tampa men’s lacrosse Whipple Lacrosse Satellite Prospect Camp at The Shipley School on Aug. 14.

The event is for boys in the grad years of 2018-2021.

The University of Tampa men’s lacrosse program is an NCAA DII sponsored team that has finished in the NCAA Final Four three of the last four seasons. Whipple Lacrosse (named after head coach Rory Whipple and also branded at “WHIPLAX”) is the camp business name that we run all of our camp programs for the University of Tampa Lacrosse program under.

These one-day clinics are primarily for teaching and evaluation by our staff.

Our goal with our satellite camps is to bring our staff and the Tampa experience to High School prospects around the country who are interested in playing lacrosse in college with the idea that we can identify prospects for our program while saving them the cost of coming to Tampa for an evaluation camp.

Our Satellite camp runs at major lacrosse sites throughout the nation…The Shipley School (PA), Brother Rice (MI), Skyline High School (WA), Cold Spring Harbor (NY), Avon Old Farms (CT) to name a few.

The camp is open to all high school boys in graduation years 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

“We are committed to winning a National Championship at the University of Tampa,” said coach Whipple. “These one day clinics are going to allow us to build relationships with players and coaches all over the country as we look for top level student-athletes for our lacrosse program.”

The cost of the camp day is $95 which, primarily, we apply to our travel costs for our staff.
