Registration is open for the Rising Sons Tryouts for boys in the classes of 2020 to 2024. The 2020 tryout on Aug. 10 at Episcopal Academy from 6-8 p.m. is the only tryouts for that age class. The upcoming 2021-2014 tryouts will be second for those classes.
Open tryouts will be held at Episcopal Academy and Malvern Prep on these days:
Rising Sons 2020 – August 10 from 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2021 – August 9 from 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2022 – August 7th 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2023 – August 8th 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2024 – August 10th 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2020
Rising Sons is elated to announce that it has hired Adam Mueller as Head Coach of its 2020 team and will be holding open tryouts (free of charge) for the 2020 squad on Aug. 10 at Episcopal Academy. Mueller has been a staple in the Philadelphia lacrosse scene for years and possesses a pro resume that includes being named NLL Coach of the Year while taking three NLL teams to the playoffs (Philadelphia Wings, Minnesota, New York) as a head coach.
Mueller will also handle all Winter training for the entire Rising Sons club and assist the Rising Sons 2022 Team.
Mueller also was Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the US Men’s Team at the 2015 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships and played 11 years in the MILL and NLL with the Wings, Baltimore Thunder, Albany Attack and Detroit Turbos (Assistant Captain). He was a two-time World Champion as a player and led the Wings to another title as Offensive Coordinator.
Mulelr also had trained some of the top players in the region. Mueller’s assistant for the 2020 team will be named in early August before tryouts.
Rising Sons 2021
Rising Sons is pleased to announce that it will be holding an open tryout for its Sons 2021 High School Team. Rising Sons 2021 is Philadelphia’s Elite Travel Team that trains year round with the top coaches in the region. Our training staff is nationally renowned and have very accomplished resumes. The Sons 2021 team will compete in the most challenging showcase events versus the nation’s top teams to maximize exposure. Our players receive direct invites to the top individual showcase recruiting events. With a mantra of “Just Get Better”, our training is centered around doing the little things right that will enable and prepare our kids to play at the high school and collegiate levels. We pride ourselves on teaching the kids how to compete.

Fall- 8 practices and 3 Showcase Team Events
Winter- 8-10 Positional Training with the area’s top Trainers. Focus on positional skills and box skills.
Spring- Positional Skill Opportunities
Summer- 12-14 Practices, 3 Major Showcase Events which will conclude in June/1st Week of July. Practices/Skill Sessions continuing through July to enable kid to attend individual showcase events and prospect days sharp and with fresh legs.
