Wissahickon High School 2018 midfielder John Dickson has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Pace University.

Lacrosse Honors: Varsity since 9th Grade, Varsity Captain as a Junior, Garden State Showcase All-Star, Third Team All-Suburban One as a Sophomore, Brine National Lacrosse Classic, SEPYLA All-Star for 2 years, Keystone State Games Montgomery County Team, Super Sophs Showcase

Academic Honors: National Honor Society, Student Council President, Shepard Horton Award Recipient, Bruce Arnold Award Recipient for sportsmanship and academic excellence, Advanced Math Program, High School Mentorship Program

Intended Major: Finance

Why did you choose Pace? “I chose Pace University because of the amazing academics and lacrosse program starting with the staff and players. I have always wanted to play lacrosse at the highest level, and I am so honored that Coach (Tom) Mariano and Coach (Rob) Cornetta are giving me this opportunity.”

HS team’s Outlook for 2017 season? “Wissahickon returns a lot of starters from last year and are looking to snag a District 1 title.”
